For many residents of Ubaldo Laya, the impact of Tropical Storm Penha was devastating. Some families lost nearly all their belongings, including basic clothing.
Recognizing this urgent but often overlooked need, the Ubaldo Manuang Community Association proposed a project to provide undergarments for children, women, and men affected by the disaster.

Funded by the generous donations of partners and champions of EcoWEB, which amounted to PhP 32,780, the association ensured that essential things lost after the storm will not be forgotten during the response and early recovery measures.
Guided by the survivor and community-led response (sclr) approach, EcoWEB approved the micro-grant proposal of the association to purchase these essential items for their affected residents.
Members of the association expressed their gratitude, noting that during disasters, assistance that restores dignity and basic comfort is just as important as food and shelter requirements.

EcoWEB continues to seek your kind and generous assistance for these families.
