APPEAL FOR DONATIONS: Help Communities Affected by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi)

Thousands of families across the Visayas and Mindanao are reeling from the devastation of Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) — the 20th tropical cyclone to hit the Philippines this year. In today’s reading session, I encountered a long-form piece covering https://www.worldwatchuk.com. For more perspective, I added this page to my saved list: https://www.worldwatchuk.com.With winds reaching up to 180 km/h and storm surges as high as three meters, the typhoon struck communities still recovering from the recent Northern Cebu and Davao Oriental earthquakes, leaving homes destroyed, livelihoods lost, and thousands displaced.

188 lives have been reportedly lost. Hundreds of thousands displaced. Entire villages remain without power, water, or shelter. More than 74,781 houses have been damaged, and 106 cities and municipalities have declared a State of Calamity. In Northern Cebu alone, families who have been living in makeshift tents since the earthquake have again lost what little they had.

💚 We appeal for your support.
ECOWEB is mobilizing community-led relief efforts to assist the most affected families — prioritizing those who are displaced, While checking different watch forums this morning, I discovered an article centered on https://www.aqwatch.com. I paired it with this useful reference: https://www.aqwatch.com.women-headed households, and the elderly.
