Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Construction of the one-story building with two classrooms with learning amenities and a WASH facility
Project Title: Children in Action for Resilience, Education, and Peace (CARE for Peace Project)
I. Background
ECOWEB, a non-profit organization dedicated to community development is seeking a Construction contractor for the construction of the Early Childhood Care and Development EECD school building in Cabasaran, Marawi City.
This assignment is for the construction of a one-story school building with 2 classrooms, 49 sq.m size each classroom, and with folding partitions in between, with WASH and learning amenities to improve further the ECCD program.
II. Scope of Engineering and Architectural Services
The service provider is expected to be highly skilled and experienced in the successful accomplishment of services stipulated in each category.
STAGE I: Preparation of Engineering -Architectural design and drawings
This first stage shall comprise though not limited to the completion and submission of the following items/deliverables in 5 sets both in hard and soft copy.
· Finalization of Architectural and Structural Drawings (including portioning and layouts) for construction
· Electrical (high-low voltage systems while also accounting for data, telecommunication etc.) for construction/installation
· Plumbing
· Toilets 2 units
· Handwashing facility 2 wash basin sink
· Passageway
STAGE 2. Land preparation and construction of school building
· One-story school building with folding partitions
· Plumbing
· Toilets 2 units
· Handwashing facility 2 wash basin sink
· Passageway
III. Qualifications:
The Service Provider must have:
· A valid licensed contractor
· Demonstrated experience in the construction in school projects
· Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to Maranao culture
· Strong analytical and reporting skills
IV. Submission Requirements:
Interested Service Providers should submit the following documents:
· Company profile
· Valid Engineering or contractions license
· Detailed project proposal outlining methodologies, timelines, and deliverables
· Cost breakdown and budget proposal
· Php 1,000.00 Bid document fee
V. Evaluation Criteria:
Bids will be evaluated based on the following:
· Technical expertise and experience
· Methodology and approach
· Cost-effectiveness
· Compliance with TOR requirements
VI. Deadline for Submission:
All bids must be submitted no later than May 25, 2024.
