Five aspirants aiming to live the reality of dreams lifted themselves through taking up Heavy Equipment Operation (Forklift) Training.
After having completed Driving NC II (Straight Truck) last November 29, 2019, these identified individuals brought with them the learnings to pursue Heavy Equipment Operation (Forklift) Training NCII. The trainees are molded at MAQS Training Center Foundation which is accredited by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Different stories, different aspirations – honing them to become the best pillar of their own home.
Five beneficiaries from different municipalities took a leap of faith as they hope to create change with their current condition. Trainees are Abduljabbar Saidamen, an IDP from barangay Maliwanag, Pantao Ragat; Samad Dilabacun, a host family member from barangay writing essay services Matampay, Balo-i; Jamal Dimacota Membisa, an IDP from barangay Mahayahay, Iligan City; Basher Mangotara, a host family member from Matampay, Balo-i; and Jalal Macaalang, an IDP from barangay East Poblacion, Balo-i.
Enrolling in the said course is driven by different inspiring stories of these men. Stories that keep them motivated toward achieving common good and never give up when stumbled. One of the participants shared the current condition of his family which made him decide to grab the opportunity.
“The very reason why I still pursue learning and aspire to land for a decent job is because of my child who has a special condition. He needs operation because of the severe condition faced and the child needs colostomy bag where he deposits wastes. Currently, I am a habal-habal (motorcycle) driver and I do not get enough income out of it.” said Mangotara.
Having a job is not just only gaining money for living, but it also provides learning and experiences all through ages. Being equipped with knowledge and skills in forklift training opened new doors and lighten up paths of these trainees. The hope is within reach as they flip a new page of life as these trainees are currently pursuing employment and preparing for deployment to different prominent companies in the country.
