How ECOWEB works?

ECOWEB works with families, groups, communities and local government units. ECOWEB works with partners for projects and advocacy issues at local, national, regional and international level.

ECOWEB’s partners includes community-based organizations, indigenous political structures, NGO’s, local government units, charity groups, faith-based organizations, business-oriented organizations and international agencies.

As a national organization, ECOWEB works with national agencies and departments like the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the national Office of Civil Defence (OCD).

ECOWEB campaigns on issues including localization of humanitarian aid, human rights protection, climate justice, indigenous peoples’ rights, natural resource conservation and gender equality. At the international level, ECOWEB is one of the endorsers of the Charter for Change that work for the localization of humanitarian aid. ECOWEB is also a leading member of the Alliance for Empowering Partnership.
