Responsibilities:

- Lead in the conduct of the updating of the profiles of ancestral domain rights holders within the domain of assignment.

- Ensures good communication between the Project Team and the members of the IPS and other community leaders.

- Supports the IPS-CBO in strengthening the IPS and its community-based structures in the whole Ancestral Domain, and in the formation of Indigenous Peoples Organization (IPO) when necessary.

- Supports the Ancestral Domain Planning and Land Rights Officer (ADP-LRO) in the conduct of the planning and implementation of the ADSDPP,

- Supports the Livelihoods and Social Enterprise Development Facilitator (LSEDF) in the development and monitoring of social enterprises supported by the project.
Major deliverables:

- By the end of 2024, an updated list of ancestral domain rights holders is available and submitted to NCIP for inclusion and updating of the Recognition Book of the ancestral domain.

- Regular meetings of the IPS and its community-based organizations/structures are conducted and minutes are available and accessible to the project team.

- A directory of the IPS members and leaders of communities within the ancestral domain, and officials of wholly or partly covered barangays within the domain is available and updated every 6 months.

- Reports on the activities initiated and led.

- Compiled minutes of meetings with community-level IPS stored in an easily retrieval system.
Essential minimum qualifications and professional experience required
Education: College Graduate preferably in any of the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Community Development, Social Work, or Graduate in Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Sociology, Political Science or History.
Minimum Experience Level:

- Significant experience (minimum 2 years) working in community-based sustainable development and particularly with indigenous peoples’ organizations and communities, particularly with IPS or its members;

- Experience working through partnerships, networking, advocacy and demonstrating leadership;

- Experience on preparing plans, reports and documenting activities practices.

- Experience in dealing with Local Government units at barangay and municipal levels.

- Strong skills in drafting documents and reports of high quality and clarity;

- Drafting documents and reports using MS Word, Excel and making presentations using Power Point
