Currently, ECOWEB is implementing the “Enhancing the resilience of indigenous communities (IPs) to climate change impacts and strengthening their socio-economic position in Caraga, Mindanao”, which aims to strengthen the indigenous political structures and indigenous peoples organizations, enhance the Ancestral Domain Sustainable Development and Protection Plan, provide community sustainable livelihood, and incorporation of DRR/CCA plans in the ADSDPP. The project is implemented in CADT090 in Loreto and CADT117 in La Paz.

  1. To document and or assist in the documentation of anthropological, ethnological, genealogical, and other data pertaining to IPS Confirmation and Updating of ADSDPP of CADT 117;
  2. To assist in the preparation and consolidation of necessary reports such as but not limited to IPS Documentation and ADSDPP enhancement;
  3. To assist in the facilitation and conduct of IECs, data gathering, ocular inspections, community validations, community assemblies, conflict resolution meetings and all other activities as part of all the phases of IPS as mandated by NCIP AO No. 02, series of 2012 and ADSDPP as mandated in NCIP AO No. 2, series of 2018;
  4. To perform other functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

  3. Updated statement of policies integrated in the ADSDPP;

  1. Experience in genealogy documentation,
  2. Knowledge on ADSDPP formulation and experience working with indigenous people and indigenous communities,
  3. Strong communication and writing skills.

The Community Service  Center Head of NCIP Lapaz will be responsible for the supervision of the  Consultant’s performance of this assignment. Technical outputs and deliverables will be  reviewed by the IPR Project ADSDPP Officer. Recommendation will be done by the IPR Project Manager and the final approval will be provided by the Executive  Director.
