Convening the newly organized Technical Working Group (TWG) composed of representatives from MBHTE-SDO Cotabato City and principals of 11 partner schools, Project RISE dived into its strategies and implementation direction, including the integration of the Sponsorship Program and the collaborative planning for upcoming activities under this initiative.

The meeting organized yesterday, May 18, focused on the preparation and scheduling of the School Profiling Series and Community Consultations — critical activities designed to understand the realities behind children literacy in BARMM, particularly in Cotabato City.
Through school profiling, Project RISE seeks to better understand the context, capacities, challenges, and learning environments of participating schools. Meanwhile, the community consultations aim to listen directly to families, caregivers, and community stakeholders to surface the everyday realities affecting children’s foundational learning, reading habits, and overall educational development.
Beyond numbers and statistics, Project RISE recognizes that literacy outcomes are deeply shaped by the environments where children grow, learn, and dream.

By bringing together education leaders, school heads, and community stakeholders, Project RISE continues to strengthen a shared commitment: ensuring that every Bangsamoro child is supported with responsive, contextualized, and compassionate learning systems that help them read, learn, and thrive.

This initiative is being implemented by EcoWEB, Inc. funded by Educo Philippines and in partnership with MBHTE, MBHTE-DGBE, and Schools Division Office of Cotabato City.
